7 Things You Should Never Apologize For…
Published by Megan on Tagged Relationships, Basic Information
When I was younger, I used to have a habit of saying, “I’m sorry” after doing or saying something that I thought may have been non-appealing to the recipient. It didn’t matter what it was. It could be a joke that I told that didn’t garner an appropriate response of laughter from my perspective. It could be after something as simple as a sneeze.
However, after growing up a bit, I realized that I don’t have to be sorry for EVERYTHING. I should only apologize when an apology is necessary. In certain instances I’ve also learned that there are times where you may do or say something that may be a bit uncomfortable for another person. You shouldn’t have to apologize for saying those things. You may wish to apologize for the pain that saying these things may caused but the actual act and reason should not be one of remorse.
In this article, you’ll find seven instances where you should be willing to take action and not apologize for it later.

Mother’s Day is approaching, and an amazing woman named Lisa Price, is giving her customers, friends and extended family a place to recognize their mothers on her new blog. Lisa Price is the Founder/Creator/Owner of Carol’s Daughter, a natural bath and body line that was created in her kitchen with love.
Everyday, I experience the luxuriousness of her products and love to tell other people about her mission and level of customer service.
Being inspired by her story, her entrepreneurial pursuit and the the large influence of her mom over her decisions, I decided to write a story about my mom too!!

9 Tips to Freedom and Prosperity for Artsy People or Everyone Else

I’ve read so many self-help books, listened to motivational CD’s, hired coaches, gone to seminars and was left feeling like I had received something very beneficial, yet I had to admit to myself that it wasn’t what I really wanted to hear. It was the same things from the standpoint of “you just gotta do these things! If you do these particular things, you’ll be successful….” blah blah blah. There is truth throughout them all, but for someone like me who is very organic, dynamic, spontaneous and a bit scattered at times, many of the tips were too rigid, and when I “fell short” I also allowed myself to feel defeated, and in turn unproductive.
By now, many people are beginning to realize that their beliefs coupled with their dominant vibrations (emotions) will create their reality. I have a confession. I love to feel free, happy, jovial, whimsical, airy, and often times aloof. I enjoy those sensations, therefore, they move, carry and many times dictate my whereabouts and actions. Conversely, when it comes to sticking to something, it gets to be a little challenging and tricky for me.
The purpose of this post is to harness all of the amazing tools that I have collected from the masters (those who may not be as crazy as me) and put them in a framework that can bring some logic, reason and practical application to the many faceted and “not-so-practical” artisan like myself.

5 Places To Notice Life Force
Published by Megan on Tagged Book Reviews, Basic InformationThe amazingly simple but powerful book, A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle, has been sweeping the nation, especially since Oprah announced it as her new book club focus. She’s been holding live teleclasses every Monday evening for the past five weeks. There are five more classes left.
The essence of the book has to deal with noticing when the ego is prevalent, and becoming “present” in the now, letting go of the attachment to and identification with ego. Throughout the book numerous examples are given for when and how this is necessary. One of the simplest ways to become “present” and recognize the separation of Yourself from the ego is to implore your senses throughout the day. The five senses provide you with different pathways or observation points where you can become the observer of this life that You are expressing “for a little while,” as Eckhart Tolle would say.
The sense of sight:
Eckhart uses the example of a flower to help you get back in touch with the “present.” He suggests removing the label of “flower” the next time you look at one. Begin to really take in the sight of the color, the shape and the size of it. See it without any reference to “memory,” simply discovering and enjoying the stillness of the life in the item itself. This can be done with other objects of nature, especially different plants.
